Single bet example
Betting on one selection in one match. In cricket, Team A's odds are 1.45 and Team B's are 2.75. If you put ৳500 on Team B and Team B wins, the return is ৳1,375 (profit ৳875). If Team A wins, the full ৳500 is lost.
Favourite example: Team B's odds are 1.80. A stake of ৳1,000 returns ৳1,800 (profit ৳800).

Betting exchange: how BACK and LAY bets work
On the o777 exchange market you can take two positions. With Team A's odds at 1.80:
- BACK Team A, stake ৳1,000: If Team A wins, profit before commission is ৳800; if they do not win, the full ৳1,000 is lost.
- LAY Team A (backer's stake ৳1,000): Your liability is ৳800 (৳1,000 × 0.80); if Team A does not win, you profit ৳1,000 before commission; if Team A wins, you pay ৳800.
